The personal injury and clinical negligence sector has experienced significant changes due to legislative and policy changes, leading to structural changes and a decline in active law firms and claims.
At the same time, we have also witnessed a wave of consolidation that has accelerated in the past five years, with more mergers and acquisitions than other specialist areas.
In this article, I explain why all this is happening and how to make sense of the noise in this sector.
